The Community Prevention Initiative
(CPI) provides one-day workshop trainings at NO COST
to groups of at least 20 participants. The initial
topics have been developed by the Center for Applied
Research Solutions (CARS) under its former alias, EMT Group, Inc.,
and offered by the California State Alcohol and Drug
Programs (ADP) through past training and technical
assistance initiatives. The new courses have been
added through since the establishment of the
Community Prevention Initiative. Several of these are
in preparation and will be available in late spring
(2004). We welcome any additional workshop topics,
which can be sent to the office of
CARS, contractor for CPI.
