The mission of Methpedia is to prevent the use of
methamphetamine by providing citizens, law enforcement,
public health, youth, media and community organizers a tool
that allows them “one-stop” shopping for the most relevant
and timely information available. Methpedia is an
interactive website that will enhance awareness about the
dangers of methamphetamine and provide simple and
straightforward strategies to prevent the manufacture,
distribution, and use of methamphetamine.
The US
Department of Justice has a site to educate the public
about meth, including:
http://www.usdoj.gov/methawareness/
At this site, you can also get involved, see what the
Department of Justice is doing about meth, hear stories, and
watch videos. Links are also provided to the National
Institute of Justice’s Report on Methamphetamine and the
National Drug Intelligence Center’s National Methamphetamine
Threat Assessment.
Resource Center
The Resource Center at the California Department of Alcohol
and Drug Programs maintains a comprehensive collection of
alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention and treatment
information. This information is provided to all California
residents at no cost through a Clearinghouse, a full-service
