Resources and Documents
CPI has mobilized a core
team of consultants with expertise in various aspects of
meth problem solving to develop resources and documents to
aid California communities. You are invited to take
advantage of these select resources by accessing them at
this site. If you would like to request no-cost training on
one or more of the training modules provided, please
submit an online request. All requests are subject
to an approval process.
We have also provided documents to keep you informed about
progress on meth that is taking place on other fronts, such
as the
California Governor’s Prevention Advisory Council
and the California
Senate Select Committee on Methamphetamine Abuse.
As additional appropriate resources and documents become
available, we will post them. If you have suggestions for
material that would be useful for you or others to access
here, please
send us your ideas.
Prevention Tactic
This Prevention Tactic focuses on solving meth problems by
drawing on what is known about what works in community meth
prevention and highlighting the specific experience of the
community of Vista in San Diego County. It includes examples
of the work that the author has been instrumental in doing
there through a Weed and Seed project. Simple action steps
and resources are also provided. Additional print copies of
this Tactic are available by
contacting us.
Training Guides
These training handbooks have been developed to
accompany CPI’s new meth training modules, which can be
accessed individually or as a series, depending on your
community’s needs. Feel free to request no-cost training on
one or more of these modules. All requests are subject to an
approval process.
Community Action Guides
These brief community action guides highlight the main ideas
captured in the meth training modules that are currently
available or will be available shortly.
