The CPI Team highlighted the opportunity to request no-cost technical assistance and training. This CPI Connection also featured two County Spotlights. They showcased Los Angeles County’s efforts to stop public marijuana smoking, and a Mendocino County Friday Night Live chapter, GASP (Go Away Smokers Please), that gave out “Responsible Merchant Awards” to promote local retailers’ alcohol and tobacco compliance.

The CPI Team shared the new online hub of information for California prevention professionals interested in becoming certified. In addition, CPI also released a new guide: “Focus Groups – Helpful Tools for Strategic Prevention Planning.”
