Customized Technical Assistance
Technical assistance (TA) is tailored to meet the individual needs of the prevention field. Our consultants can either work through a series of consultation calls or meet on-site to work on specific areas as requested by the prevention professional. Examples of consultation topics include:
- strategic planning
- logic model development
- evidence-based drug and violence prevention strategies
- local evaluation strategies
Technical assistance services are provided at no-cost to County Alcohol and Other Drug offices and most substance use disorder prevention organizations. Contact us for more information.
Technical Assistance Request Process
Prevention agencies or organizations can apply for technical assistance by submitting a TA Request Form on-line or via fax.
Once a TA Request is submitted a CARS representative will contact you to further discuss your needs and the scope of the request. Once approved, a CPI consultant with relevant expertise will be identified and the TA assignment can be scheduled and confirmed.
You can also contact the CPI TA Team directly.
