Communications Coordinator
Kim contributes to the research, writing, and editing of an array of products, proposals, and grantee resources at CARS. For CPI, Kim supports the coordination and development of project publications. She also develops content and strategy for social media, websites, and newsletters at the CARS organizational and project levels. Kim has expertise in instructional design, virtual and hybrid learning environments, and culturally competent teaching approaches.
Previously she was a Ph.D. candidate in 18th century literature at the University of California, Davis, where she designed and taught undergraduate writing and literature courses for four years, served as assistant editor for an academic journal, and gave several conference presentations and guest lectures. Kim has a Master of Arts in English from UC Davis and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Mills College. Kim enjoys reading and hiking, and is a trained Crisis Text Line counselor.
